EPRISM M500 - NEW SMB-FOCUSED E-MAIL APPLIANCE FROM ST. BERNARD

St. Bernard Software Inc. has announced the availability of the ePrism M500, an e-mail-filtering appliance specifically developed for small- and medium-size businesses.

Designed with the challenges of small- and medium-size businesses in mind, the ePrism M500 offers businesses protection from spam and e-mail borne malicious code. At the core of its multi-layer architecture is eGuard, the company's 100 per cent human reviewed database of spam profiles. The eGuard distinction provides for higher performance, higher spam catch rates, lower false positive rates, and zero learning curve out of the box.

To complement eGuard, St. Bernard provides an additional layer of protection with the Kaspersky Labs Anti-Virus, ensuring superior perimeter defense against spam and e-mail borne malicious code. Unlike other solutions, Kaspersky Labs Anti-Virus provides filtering of both inbound and outbound e-mail on a single platform, eliminating the proliferation of viruses from both what you send and receive. This anti-virus protection is included on the ePrism M500 at no additional charge. Another layer of spam protection is provided with a customized version of the popular SpamAssassin spam filter.
